Ingredients

• 5 Cup Water• 1 Tbs dry mustard
• 1 lb Dry Navy Beans• 1 Tbs fine sea salt
• 1 Vidalia onion – chopped up• 1 tsp ground pepper (I also add touches of some during the cook as well)
• 1 &#189 Cup your favorite ketchup• 6 Slices of Bacon or Salt Pork cut into cubes
• &#188 Cup Pure Molasses
• 1 &#189 tsp Ground Cayenne Pepper (the amount is totally your call)

Instructions

Drain and rinse beans. Add beans to a pot and about 5 cups of water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 1 hour. Cook cubed Bacon in Dutch oven on the stove. Add beans, water that you simmered them in, and all the ingredients above into Dutch oven. Gently mix it up.

Add Hickory Chunks to an established 275-300 degree egg using a platesetter and grill. Add Dutch oven uncovered for 3.5 to 4 hours gently stirring every 30 minutes or so.
Remove from grill and put lid on Dutch oven and let it sit for 30 minutes. Stir and enjoy.
