we were out all day, running around yesterday. ...everybody wanted something different for dinner (kids wanted pizza, wife just wanted soup and sandwich, i didn't know what i wanted). . .so i didn't plan on firing up an egg. ..my good buddy, the virginian, had one of my larges fired up to grill some steaks around 5:00). ...i went to the grocery to buy for easter (see posting below), and while walking around, i said to myself, "self, brett has the egg fired up, why not just buy a pound of burger and throw it on the egg that is already lit for your dinner!!" .. . .so that's what i did, got home, opened the vents back up (brett had already finished cooking and shut things down), egg cranked right back up to 400 degrees, bought some burger, got home and coated it up with dizzy cowlick and . ..waalaa, most eggsellent dinner for me. . .always good to turn around a find a pre-fired egg across the street. .. .
