OT, What\'s your blood type? I\'m O+, meat eater

Type O's are meat eaters and the oldest blood type. Perhaps that's why I got an egg..
Here is a short description from the book, Eat Right 4 Your Type by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo.:
"Your blood type-O,A,B, or AB -is a powerful genetic fingerprint that identifies you as surely as your DNA.
When you use the individualized characteristics of your blood type as a guidepost for eating and living, you will be healthier, you will naturally reach your ideal weight, and you will slow the process of aging.
Your blood type is a more reliable measure of your identity than race, culture, or geography. It is a genetic blueprint for who you are, a guide to how you can live most healthfully.
The key to the significance of blood type can be found in the story of human evolution: Type O is the oldest; Type A evolved with agrarian society; Type B emerged as humans migrated north into colder, harsher territories; and Type AB was a thoroughly modern adaptation, a result of the intermingling of disparate groups. This evolutionary story relates directly to the dietary needs of each blood type today."
Ok, so if you know your blood type then there are target foods for that blood type. I also bought the book, Cook Right 4 Your Type, also by Dr. D'Adamo.
The books teach about the fundamental relationships between blood type and dietary/lifestyle choices. Good readings. So... What's your blood type? I'm O and my wife is A, we are opposites.

O- ... the universal donor (baring minor RH factors). The sad thing is, I can only receive blood from O-. I know at least three people from whom I can receive blood should I need it.

Mine is Bud Light....wonder what that says about me?
  :woohoo: -
So what does it say about postive vs negative?
I'm AB negative...... We are a rare and special bunch :>) -
older son is O

i used to be frequent blood donor, till the girl who was working the desk... demanded i give her my social security number.... i have no problem showing my passport.... but there;s no way in hell ,,, that i'm going to give name, date of birth, soc. number and driver's license numbers to a complete stranger!.... as result....( tragically) i now longer give blood!..... i don't mind showing some form of ID.... but sadly, i'm concerned about identity theft..... how was i supposed to know that that the laptop she was using was indeed the Red Cross'..... regardless..... the RC.... has no possible need for that level of information for a pint of blood!... they need to wake up!.... i'm sure i'm not the only guy who feels this way!.... rr
