You guys may be having problems dealing with the snow and although we down south are only whining about our {{cold}} temps, there are more serious problems we are experiencing.
I went to 2 stores and called a third (including Sam's Club) trying to find Boston Butts to cook tonight for a Sunday game party. Neither Sam's nor the Krogers had any trucks coming in until tomorrow because of the bad weather up north! The local grocery only had small boneless ones for the same reason. :(
Guess my plans change and I will be cooking tomorrow or Saturday, assuming I don't have to work Saturday night.

Clark,
Just make some more of Egrets chili and your worries are over. That stuff is just so damn good I think I better grab a frozen package to thaw for tomorrow. -
Good idea, Adam! That chili is "da bomb" !
I was thinking about changing from pulled pork to chili until I found out the hostess of the party was making chili - wouldn't be cool to upstage the hostess - so pulled pork it is !
Stay warm, my friend!
PS - just checked the weather here and it is 26* now with low of 21*. THIS IS THE SOUTH !!! Geezzz!
I had to drag my earthboxes into the screened porch and put them under a blanket tent with a ceramic heater aimed at them. The broccoli I've been trying to grow all winter is almost ready to cut - don't want to lose it now! Just checked and the temp at the earthboxes has gone from 29* to 37*, so I guess it's working! -
Good thinking...Never up-stage the host or hostess
Good luck with the garden....You guys are really getting blasted! Stay warm! -
Eat more chicken!!!

A burger institution in Boston, R.F. O'Sullivan & Son Pub, ran out of meat the other night because their trucks had not been able to deliver.

Thats why I always have 4 or 5 in the freezer all the time. Actually the local store runs them on sale every few months for $.99 a pound. I have bought a couple the last few times and have not cooked any in a while. I need to soon.
If you wanna drive up I could hook you up with few.
