Nature's Grilling Mesquite Charcoal

Hi,

My wife just got back from the store and she bought a few bags of this type of charcoal that I've never seen before. As best as I can tell, it is basically lump charcoal that has been made from mesquite wood.

Now I really don't like mesquite (as far as chunks or chips) and don't like that harsh, acrid mesquite wood smoke flavor.

My question is, as this stuff has been made into charcoal, do you think it will still give off a mesquite taste, or is it more likey to be more or less neutral, just like lump charcoal made from any other wood?

Thanks.
