Big tingle of excitement yesterday when I came home to a doorknob hanger from the post office saying there was a package for me at the post office!

Wasn't able to pick it up until today - but just ripped into it when I got my hands on it.

Must be true what they say about everything being bigger in Texas! It's a huge bag of the most amazing smelling rub (the Texas BBQ Original Rub) and a huge bottle of the Salt Lick Dry rub - along with a really neat looking bottle of Candied Jalapenos - what's not to love!!!

Brandon says the Original rub should be good with the 'big meats' - I'll be trying it on my first brisket in a short while.
