Once more, Egret thank you. Your ham is outstanding.
Each Thanksgiving and Christmas and a couple of times during the year. This Thanksgiving like the last few I have switched to spral cut.

  • That looks great, Mickey.

I did a spiral cut Egret ham several days ago - for a work party - first time to try the spiral cut.

What did you do different from a non-cut one?

I tried to rub paste btwn the slices, but they started falling apart. I was able to ease in some maple syrup injection without making too much mess, but was only able to get about 2-3 ounces in. Was worried it would not be enough to counteract the strong paste, but it really turned out good.

Clark I just rub the syurp between the slices and it seems to work. I could not get the injectors to ever work.
    Then paste on the outside.

Great looking ham. When it's gone use the bone and smaller hunks of ham on the bone, think soup, ummm good.
