I cooked up a breakfast casserole this morning on my BGE. This was my first attempt at something like this and it turned out pretty good. I made it with Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, eggs, English muffins, 1/2 onion and of course cheese (mozzarella and cheddar). Baked for about an hour at 350.
So I finally got around to making some ABTs, why did I ever wait so long to try them?? Deee-lish-us!!! A good friend gave us some freshly grown jalapenos. I sliced 'em in half and filled them with a mix of cream cheese, store bought shredded "mexican cheese", and a pinch of "slap yo momma" seasoning.
They cookedindirect (with some smoke) on the egg for about 45 min @ 250-350. The last half of the cook I threw on some steaks to get a kiss of smoke before pulling the ABTs off and raising the egg to sear. They were great!
