  • Re: New mini max, need help

@YEMTrey Thanks for sharing that about the lower vent. I noticed mine had lots of play in it.
  • My egg's new home

Finally got my LBGE's new home mostly finished, I still need to finish some shelving on the inside but I'm loving my new set up.
  • Re: Pizza Tonight

Looks great. My wife and I were just talking about how we need to make some pizzas on the egg.
  • Breakfast Casserole

I cooked up a breakfast casserole this morning on my BGE. This was my first attempt at something like this and it turned out pretty good. I made it with Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, eggs, English muffins, 1/2 onion and of course cheese (mozzarella and cheddar). Baked for about an hour at 350.

  • ABTs... why did I wait so long??

So I finally got around to making some ABTs, why did I ever wait so long to try them?? Deee-lish-us!!! A good friend gave us some freshly grown jalapenos. I sliced 'em in half and filled them with a mix of cream cheese, store bought shredded "mexican cheese", and a pinch of "slap yo momma" seasoning.

They cooked indirect (with some smoke) on the egg for about 45 min @ 250-350. The last half of the cook I threw on some steaks to get a kiss of smoke before pulling the ABTs off and raising the egg to sear. They were great!
