  • Re: Hi all

I did a couple before I did pizza.  Worst case scenario you just burn your gasket.  Been cooking without mine for about a year.  Not a huge deal.

  • Re: Why I Bought A LooftLighter

    I love my looflighter.

I envy you though, my GF will not touch the egg so cooks during the week are kind of on the late side.
I am really excited about it… Anything that cost $80 and makes fire is a plus in my book.

My wife loves the big green egg food… She hates big green egg food at 8 o'clock at night. We really like to eat dinner with our boys in they cannot make it up that late. So it was pretty much her only option :))

Lee Ann and Larry are the nicest people imagineable, having known them for probably 8 years or so.  No, Lee Ann won't post here as she doesn't have an ID and neither she nor Larry have ever posted on any forum.  Her words may have been ill-chosen, but I can imagine her frustration since I DO know how hard they have worked, and it probably is a bit galling to hear someone who doesn't know just flip off a comment like they don't care about their charcoal business any more.

Regardless of what @caliking said, as a business owner, you simply cannot talk to customers that way and expect any other outcome.  Nice or not, work hard or not, the email is unacceptable.  I am also the one who said that the truth lies somewhere in between.  Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she was frustrated with his post...either way she can't send an email like that and expect anything different that what is happening.

I am in.  Not sure about the idea of someone here managing that amount of money though.  While I would like to think everyone is trustworthy, that kind of money is too tempting.  Something would need to be done to ensure the safety of everyone's donations and that they were properly accounted for and distributed.
