John, regarding the silt in the bottom of the pool, if you have the ability to vacuum to waste it will speed the cleaning process. Don't know what kind of filter you have but if it's a DE or sand filter with a multi port valve you add a few inches of water to the pool, turn the multi port to 'waste' and vac the pool. This bypasses the filter and sends the water and silt out of your backwash line. Also regarding the line on the tiles, keep and eye on your Hardness level, should be 200-400 ppm.
  • Re: how do you prepare your lobster

I use a butcher knife down the under side not quite all the way through..you want the top shell to act as a hinge so to speak. I then clean them out, add a little S&P and throw them on the Egg for about 7-8min @ 450.

I know I may get flamed for this but I didn't think that Heady is worth all the hype, it was decent but nothing crazy.

DFH 60 and 90 are both solid.

If you're going through Maine try to pick up something by Maine Beer Co. I've had a few of them recently and have been pleased. It seems that stores by me (Northern NJ) only get a six-pack at a time if they get any at all.

So many great beers out there...I wish I had more time to enjoy
