National BBQ Month sure was tasty! We hope you got to try just as many new BBQ recipes as we did and some old favorites as well.     I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to hear what some of  you Grandmas had to say about this new fangled interweb .  Or imagine a portable phone that can take pictures and send letters! And it's connected to that Godramn inter web!!  LOL ... Jeez guys!

    I'm really glad the yeti will keep things cryogenically frozen on the same 1lb bag of ice for a decade .. I don't have a need for that kind of refrigeration... ever ... 

    $185 isn't a going to keep the kids from going to college .. and supporting an upstart sounded fun.

    My wife is Colombian so we make Arepas almost weekly .. those look great! 

    I am so stupid though ... I was looking at your sauce saying to myself - that mix looks really wet to form arepas, and what's with the .. OH.. 

    I prefer the yellow meal but we use both.. if you haven't already, try putting some farmers cheese in the mix.  We cook ours on an unoiled pan .. I don't know if that's normal or what .. they are super crisp that way .. but we dedicate a pan to it .. it is otherwise ruined.

    Arepas are really good with pulled pork.. I have a picture up here with it somewhare

    get that walk on right when you get home. a great stress reliever as well. then eat and shut it down.

    I have to deal with my weight all the time.. but one thing i will never allow for myself is to make excuses .. if i'm fat .. i earned it.

    I like my beers as much as the next guy .. but you need to get  this thing started .. try to balance beers for pasta .. 2 days/week only..

    Caliking took a jab at WG because he can't get it in his area at the price he wants. The WG woman made a pointless and ill conceived response because he was trying to damage the good name of her company. Caliking proceeds to put the entire, otherwise private, conversation on the forum after clearly getting the best of the WG woman's composure. The WG woman's wording is easily taken to the exteme if not entirely out of context. A pile on ensues. Shocking in this place. These guys make a little charcoal and are gracious enough to ship it to your door at a number. They could probably hand pick the buyers. They simply don't make enough. Not available in your area? Find another charcoal. It's charcoal! Too say you were treated poorly after trying to publicly damaging the company's image is weak. It's not like the WG woman told a customer in good standing he was wrong. She told a guy who made a jab at her company that he knew nothing about her business and pleaded for respect. Truth be told, she doesn't need his business or anyone else who buys this scenario. They run out of the stuff ... I think they have sales covered outside of the big green egg forum.
