  • Beef Stout Roast

Seeing a lot of Beef Stout cooked for sandwiches, I decided to use the same recipe, but with a little more traditional flavor - added a couple different varieties of potatoes and carrots. It's still on the Egg, but looking good! Can't smell a damn thing because the yellow pollen is everywhere here in Central Mississippi, and the Zyrtec just isn't working for me. Anyway, here's some pics so far. After the 3rd pic, I foiled it, raised the temp to 350, and will check it in a couple hours.

Looks great! I found if I edit the picture on my iPad/iPhone, rotate it once, then rotate back, it will upload correctly!
  • Re: Hello!

Bham_Egger is responsible for my owning of an Egg.... I went on that fishing trip with him (see my first post)! As far as I'm concerned, he's responsible for me spending approx $2000.00+ because of that trip (fishing trip+Egg+accessories)! But let me say this, he is an excellent cook, and has some experience in running a kitchen in a well known restaurant. I've got to say I'm probably responsible for him getting that Egg last week... He's spent a few weekends on my patio and he couldn't resist it any more! Glad you're here bud, congrats on the purchase, and we can't wait for you to share some of those recipes you have come up with!!! EGG ON!
