    Problem solved new base installed by the dealer today.

    @WeberWho I ended up calling BGE and talking with Bruce I also contacted Warners Stellian.  Warner called me today and said that they were able to expedite the process and will be out next Wednesday to install the new base.  I'm guessing that Bruce most likely expedited the whole process based on my concern of having it available for Thanksgiving.  Which wasn't really that big of a concern prior to owning the BGE I had been making turkeys on my Weber kettle for years.

    Warranty FTW!

    Tons of great roads in the area, the TOD can be very busy and as mentioned above many drivers can't keep it between the mayo and mustard.  We had some good food @ the Ugly Dog Cafe, there is also supposed to be a decent BBQ in Highlands as well.  As always rubber side down and have fun!
  • Beef rib mania

    Having a few friends over tonight.   They haven't had a chance to try real Texas style beef ribs.   Picked up 15 pounds of them@restaurant depot.   Basil Hayden whiskey barrel chunks for smoke.  Enjoy your weekend.
