  • Re: Momma's Got A New Toy

Big fan of grillgrates for fatty foods like burgers.  Prevents flare-ups and sooty smoke.  I haven't used them smooth side up though.  Have to give that a try.

Where do you live?  If you're in the Austin area I know where you can save quite a bit off retail on the 30
  • Re: FedEx 1: Rockwood 0

I'm not upset with anyone, especially not @stlcharcoal. I'm sure he loves charcoal more than any of us.

I'll use all 5 bags and I'm sure they'll be fine. I'll mix in the smaller pieces from the bag that split open and my brisket won't know the difference  :)
  • FedEx 1: Rockwood 0

Got my 5 bags of Rockwood from Firecraft today.  The bag that shipped alone survived fairly well but the four in the large box, not so much.  Still looking forward to trying it out though.

Where's that at?  I'll be drive thru Austin tomorrow.
CB Hardware in Cedar Park.  Friend of mine runs it. I'll PM you the details.
