We hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July weekend and is excited for more warm weather grilling! This week, we’ll be making these two burgers: Stuffed Portobello Mushroom and Caribbean Chicken, and also eating lots of these Ice Cream Sandwiches in honor of National Ice Cream Month! It's time to think about getting out to one of the many #EGGfests around the country - see a list here

Nevermind - looks like restaurant depot needs TAX ID or EXEMPT # and my company is just me.  I am a business owner, but my LLC has no employees.  Am I  correct to assume that I can not join then?

They just want to know on your application that the company's function has some relationship to food or charity.  If your LLC has an EIN, that will suffice.  Note that my company is in IT, but we were engaging in some trade show and other marketing events where we wanted to serve some food items.  That was good enough for Restaurant Depot and membership was approved.

I am not suggesting you lie (certainly don't lie about being a non-profit if you aren't), but RD isn't exactly the FBI; they aren't going to be background checking your application. . . you can think of something.
