It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

  • Grill Extender has my dealer curious

Got my grill extender in the mail last week. Thanks to all those involved! Called my dealer in TN and wanted to order 2 small bge cooking grids and the lady said she had been selling eggs for close to 10 years and has never had so many calls from people wanting replacement grids. She asked me if i wanted the grids for some grill extender like one that another customer told her about. I couldn't lie and confessed that's why I wanted it. She said over the years the mothership has considered and even bought into some of these after market items making them their own. I'm sure a mothership purchase would  take the price from 25 to 75 bucks, based on the price of the grids . Glad i got mine and i wish the inventor all the best in selling these things.

BTW small stainless cooking grids ran 50 bucks a pop with shipping.

  • Re: BGE Grill Extender Group Buy

Anyone else find it a little suspect that there are so many folks with one or two posts wanting one?
I am probably one of the guys you are referring to..... I moved last summer and didn't use my egg at all, but now have been using it a lot this year, and lately have been researching multiple grids, saw this post and jumped on it!

I sent this to 2 guys that have eggs and have never joined the forum. Both joined and requested one. I think the product speaks for itself for 30-35 bucks. The competition is priced over 150 from cgw.
