We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. Nice. We've done something similar inside with pork sausage, cream cheese, bell pepper, and onion for the filling. Pre-cooking the shell definitely helps. Got to try the taco filling - that sounds good!
BTW, do save a little time when you or your guests are hungry, pre-cook the shells ahead of time and put them in a sealable container - they'll keep a week or two before they go stale.
