  • Mojo Beef

Hi Eggers!!  I haven't posted anything for quite a while, but stalk you all on occasion!  I hope life is treating each one of you well.  My life is busy, and not as much time for grilling as I would like, but in spite of the 6 day a week work schedule I have experienced the last 2 weeks, we found time for this.  This glorious marinade that is probably one of my absolute favorites.  Granted, it's not my recipe, but why re-invent the wheel?  I got this off Food Wishes site.

    Behold.  My beef.

    Take care ya'all.

A bit messy you get the idea

I don't think it's messy at all.  I think it looks used and loved and perfect place for your friends to come hang out and have a beer.

  • Re: Weekend Camping

That area is beautiful.  We got married just across the state line in Sieverville.  Rented a cabin and said "we do" on the deck of it.  Then we made Carne Asada.

Here's what all of you have taught me:

    1. Cook to temp and not necessarily always, but sometimes, screw the time.
    2. Buy a good thermometer (done).
    3. Don't research tilapia. Gotcha @Griffin

Good job grasshopper.  Once I learned to cook to temp I stopped screwing things up.  Also I have only done meatloaf once, but I loved the little bit of smoky flavor it had!   Enjoy.
  • First Wings on Raised Direct

So you all said, buy an adjustable rig!   I said well, that's a lot of cabbage.  I hinted.   Ok I flat out insinuated that it would be in my husbands best interest that an AR be a birthday gift.  I got what I wanted!

We did these wings tonight just tossed in a premade bourbon sweet sauce I picked up from GFS.  I did them totally raised direct and could not be more pleased with the result.

Have a great Labor Day everyone!
