The Blackstone is fantastic. I was getting terrific pies off the egg but over an hour of preheat and a lot of charcoal. The BS is ready very quickly and the results are great every time. I love the egg, we grilled lobsters and steaks last night, the pizza was just an appetizer.
I only have a large, it is plenty big enough for me. I have never wished for more space and I have cooked a lot on mine! Having said that, we have an Akorn jr at our winter place in Florida and it is a great size for quick cooks for 2. I am thinking if I had a small I may use it more than the large? Less lump and seems like it would be good for most things I do (chops, wings, steaks, legs, thighs)
