  • Re: Dry Age Poll

I have a 19.7 lb boneless prime rib that's been sleeping in its Umai sleeping bag about 20 days so far...I plan to do 35 but will post pics and weights after I'm done!  My 1st attempt and it was hard to fork out the change on a big chunk of meat like that!
  • Re: Asparagus on the egg.... Wasn't good...

A little OO and some seasoning, and wouldn't worry bout "smoking" it w/ wood....the lump coal is enough.  My ole lady wraps it in bacon and brown sugar its!!!  Turns out great!!!
  • Re: Walmart Royal Oak lump sale 2016

Picked up (9) 18#ers a@ $10 ("everyday low price") and one Cowboy 20#er at $11 ("on sale").
    Question:
At those prices being (almost) equal...should I have picked up some more Cowboy..or is one markedly better than the other?
Unless things have changed, several lbs of Cowboy brand will be rock.....

I'll have to check my Walmart, wasn't on sale the other day and really don't need any right now but won't pass up a deal!!!
