Buy what is best for you. Lots of folks have different cookers here. If someone has a problem with that just ignore them. Don't expect to get answers about your specific cooker but there are lots of good people here that will help you with any cooking related questions you have and maybe even learn a thing or two from you.

Using left over lump like stevesails suggests might work. Just make sure there are no drippings from the previous cook.
Also maybe try Cowboy lump. It is available almost everywhere and is pretty much the Coors light of charcoal, no flavor.
