It’s almost football season, so we’re perfecting our favorite tailgating and homegating recipes! Whether you like hamburgers, wings, brats, ribs or something cooked with beer, we have everything you’ll need for the perfect tailgate party. We always like inviting friends to join our tailgates because the EGG is about community and having fun, so make sure if you’re inviting company you make extra - the food will be gone before you know it! Don't forget dessert, either!

    Had tongue on the breakfast buffet in Mexico over the summer. It reminded me of Dinty Moore beef stew. Very rich. Made everyone try it without knowing what it was and they were all fine, till they knew...
    I personally love beef tongue.  A very beautiful meat that makes the prettiest brown gravy.

    Finishing my "honey do" list. Almost there. But another will take it's place. I feel like Sisyphus.
    Hey There Nola, long time.  What I found to work well in my HoneyDo contract is a "beautiful weather clause".  It gives me the option to do whatever the heck I want to do when the weather is beautiful.  We usually allow the local weather guy to opinionate on the beautifulness of the weather and I go from there.  It took me 50yrs of wisdom and 15yrs of marriage to develop the negotiation skills to get her to agree to the clause.  :)

    More pictures to come, but I just installed the doors and granite tonight.  The egg will hopefully go into the table this weekend.  Already planning my first cook with the new table....probably ribs followed by a brisket.
