I don't want to stick my nose in where it doesn't belong so just ignore the following comment if it doesn't apply. I noticed in your set up the the SVM is sitting on the counter next to the cooler and I remember reading that you must have the controller and air pump higher than the water level in your cooler/container. This prevents moisture from running down the tube and damaging the equipment. I didn't want to see you loose the SVM.

jimreed777so sorry - never saw this. For the setup that I have...I have chosen not to run a tube to the PID and suck air from that to cool the unit. The is the biggest danger with water backing into the tube. The way I have the setup, no water can back up the tube. I do appreciate the heads up though...I have been known to do some pretty stupid things. :)
