    Sorry, I thought my comments would show up on the Forum. The Komodo Kamado weighs over 500 pounds when you include the (3) 3/8 Stainless Steel Grills. They are a lot more pricey than the EGG, $3600+, but it is a Grill that will definitely will last forever. The owner of the company is the Great Grandson of Art Linkletter, if you know who he was. Either way you go, you won't go wrong. The Komodo Kamado it like a piece of furniture. Good Luck.

    If you really want to spend the money, get a Komodo Kamado. I have both. If you take good care of your EGG you will have it forever. It is very versatile. Yes you could spend as much on accessories as you did on the EGG but you want all the Bells and Whistles.
