Frank,
That looks awesome!
Question about your CI Grid:
Did you just cut that down to size for the mini and does it sit between the firebox and the fire ring. That's a pretty slick setup!

B&Q - I had a half moon CI grid for my XL that I never used. Cut it down to fit the mini
Fits on top of the firebox or firering
Wasn't doing any searing on the XL and needed a forklift to move it  Much handier for searing on the mini. -
We split it and still had left overs - Ya Mon - Steak, Eggs and cheesy grits for breakfast. Posting later

Looks delicious Frank! I never really loved scallops until I started egging them! What's the plate you have your asparagus on?
-
A perfect combo, what a great meal! :woohoo:

J,
It's a steak plate. Quite old - pretty sure we received a set of four as wedding presents 37 years, 4 months, 28 days, 2 hours and 5 minutes ago but who's counting  -
very very nice
great creation...

Good job on food as always.
When you have a second post a better pic of the CI.
I think I need one. Maybe Tom can do a mini spyder and CI????Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
M,
I cut the grid out of my XL CI grid
Had only used it once or twice and after Mike in Abita's expanded and cracked his base, I decided not to use it anymore. May as well cut it up and use it on the egg that gets all the searing action.

Welcome back Frank! Nice steak with the scallops and shrimp!
