    After JBWeld decided to paint

Doesn't look too bad without a flash

Functional but just doesn't look right - in fact it looks tacky

Frank you win. I just ordered a new one :(
Salado TX Egg Family: 2 Large and a very well used Mini, just added a Mini Max (I'm good for now).

  • I prolly will as well
  • what's with your gasket???
looks like some wild cats had a party

Miko broke one of our dome vent covers a while back while licking the grate on the lower shelf :S

You and your traveling companion coming to Plano next month?
  • Gasket is good. It's a rutland that is a little hairy on one side - have a great seal with no leaks.

Don't think we will make it to Plano - TC's birthday weekend
  • It ain't easy being green! Good glue job, though!

Go down to the paint store with the original color and have them color match it.

I broke mine 10 years ago and never looked back... Same philosophy on the "gasket" which burned off 8 years ago.

Firebox is now in 2 pieces as of 3 years ago....

AND, the egg still produces GREAT food!!

    Gotta love it!
  • Frank, I have an extra one in the garage and its yours if you it. I can get in the mail Monday. Got your address, just let me know!
