Looks great on a night like this. Really fighting the urge to turn the heat on for the first time this season. That stew would sure help!
-
That definitely looks delicious - how long did you leave it simmer on the egg?

anyone who has not done bread yet on their eggs should just pick up a pack of frozen dough. it is a great way to practice the set up and temp with out all the time invested in a great yeast bread. I just cut this loaf into three blocks and rolled into ropes and then dusted with garlic powder. it had wonderful flavor. not as good as home made but better than store bought precut loafs that for sure!
cut it a few times more and do rolls. roll out long and cross cut for a french loaf. chop small and roll in butter and cinn and some nuts and raisins and do monkey bread.
there are a ton of ways to go with it. -
after I browned the meat and added the vegis and liquid about 2.5/3 hours, 350. direct for the meat and indirect for the stewing and then bumped the temp up for the bread 425 450 ish.
-
hey you are alive!! I though maybe Tim had chained you up in the new house with gallons of paint and wire and new plug ins and you were not going to be allowed out till done LOL
-
thank Julia Still bummed we had to change plans :(
-
we are stuffed ha ha
-
Did you get a home for that poor baby :(
-
What temp did you cook the bread at?
Edna -
Hey Edna! did it indirect at around 425-450 used parchment as my stone was kinds smokey/yucky LOL I am not good about covering it with foil like some camping eggers....

I love stews - yours looks delicious. I've never used frozen dough (and am not that great at making my own) - is it easy to work with? I always seem to make a sticky mess -
