Nothing special. Mustard slather and a Simple( but awesome!) rub I stole from someone on another forum. Few chunks of hickory. On the small for taco night.
Not sure if other small owners have this issue too but my standard settings on the large for 250 are totally different on The small. Which I'm glad I saw because I was having no trouble maintaining 180* on the small, I can never do that on large -on purpose anyway! Looks like some jerky is in my future

Good Luck and let know how it goes. I have yet to try a butt on the small. I have done beef short ribs and the vents were open wider than I would have expected. I have a hard time getting my small realy hot at times. I guess that is a good problem with low and slows. :pinch:
