Grilled Carne Asada and Refried Beans

Stopped at a Carnicria in Fillmore, Ca. on the way home from work this afternoon and bought a lb. of Carne Asada.
Started with Tortillas on the grill.
Then Carne Asada grilled @ 400* for 2-min.
A squeeze of lime, I have so many that they turn yellow from age.
Sliced cross-grain.
Added Queso fresco cheese, Pico De Gallo, and Avocado. Served with Refried Beans that Jackie cooked. A simple and wonderful meal.
Thanks for looking

All I can say is, "Oh, Damn!" Our local mexicali place has great carne asada taco and the beef is chopped up into small cubes...wish I could figure out how to make them. Simply served with onion and cilantro...paired with a "Mucho Mug" of my favorite cerveza and life is good!

Looks like a excellent meal.
Another great idea Ross, thanks -
Ross that turned out wellSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Looks just Awesome!!

Looks really good, Ross. Does your meat come pre-marinated?
Not sure of the difference between carne asada and fajitas. Fajitas are a Texas invention, and I'm sure carne asada has been around for centuries in Mexico.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious -
Ross, your carne asada with refried beans looks delicous!
I've never bought the premarinated meat at my local Latino grocer.....I'll have to give it a try. -
Ross, are you sure you are not anywhere near here?? Those tacos & beans look very nice & familiar
