Invited my friend over who is sold on the big steel keg try to convert him. I tried, he liked it, but I am not sure he is sold yet on the egg. He does respect it, but he has a rager for the keg. Who knows why, I mean look at these damn pics!

$6.99 a pound, 3 steaks maybe $24

Seasoned with coarse cracked black pepper and kosher salt

After I seared each steak. 1 minute per side, 30 seconds 1 way, 30 seconds the other. Gotta love grill marks. Please notice the grill marks my brand new CI made and the stack of meat I wish all men and women could enjoy

Seared, rested for 20 while the baked potatoes finished and back on the egg, 3 minutes a side (too long!) IMG_1793.jpg

While the steaks rested cooked up some port. mush marinaded in Italian dressing

All in all a great meal, a great time with my buddy, almost sold on the egg, maybe a few more cooks and he will wise up. And at the end of the day I got to cook steak, drink beer, and listen to Slayer-can't go wrong with that.
