We found an Italian market/deli/restaurant today that I had no idea was here. I bought San Marzano tomatoes, sea salt, canned tuna, pepperocinni peppers, and this jar of anchovies. Two of my favorite things in one jar, anchovies and chili oil. Pass the crackers. -RP

Love them in ceasar salad and pizza. Not bad with cream cheese, crackers, La Bomba and little fishies.
-
I love anchovies, but my wife thinks I'm nuts. Seeing them preserved in chili oil makes my mouth water.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.........I'm droolin over here  Those look great :woohoo:

I concur!!I spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!!
-
any brand name there that we can't see? Like other things I did not find anchovies until later in my life - now I LOVE them and snack on them straight - no crackers, no cheese, no nuttin!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Those have got to be outstanding with the added zip from the peppers.

Randy,
Some peccorino, onions, capers and those babies would make a helluva pie.

So true Johnaton. Not a real fest with the Loved one burning something, knocking stuff over or stealing tables. OH, that last part was you.

:woohoo: BAIT! :woohoo:
You should be able to catch some real fish with those!
LOL, just kidding, they look great. How much heat do they have?

Haven't tried them yet, kinda full after the steak dinner. Tomorrow for sure. -RP

and it masks some of the anchovie flavor, I will have to make many trips back to this store. -RP

I hear ya there Ron, If someone put them on a pizza I wouldn't touch it, and I had never even tasted them. I cook a lot of them into dishes I make and just don't tell anyone they are there. They add an awesome flavor that everyone enjoys as long as they don't know they're in there. -RP

Glad to see I'm not the only one who seceretly loves those things!! Wife thinks I'm nuts but I can eat them with just crackers.
-
I slip them into a lot of dishes without telling Kim, she wouldn't eat them if she knew. -RP

YUM!
