I think the Lake Conroe Egger was telling us about this sausage at the OKC Fest. I went to the website, but wasn't sure what you had cooked at OKC. What type were you serving? Did you say that online is the best way to order or by calling them?

Some of the best sausage you'll ever have. :woohoo:
We have it EVERY Saturday during college football season. There's nothing like a sausage first thing in the morning washed down with nice cold beer
If you can't find any locally, they will ship. -
For the family, I cook the Hickory Smoked (yellow label). If it is for the guys, I will sometimes get the Spicy Hickory Smoked (red label). It is good stuff :woohoo: :woohoo:

This sausage is great!! We grill it on the egg as an appetizer most of the time while waiting on the other food to be done. Like the post before, it is great during football season tailgating with ice cold beer.

Tweety, this is the one I served in OKC

I take some to every eggfest and it is always a hit.
If you order it, it is best to call they can give you a better shipping rate the site. -
I just had some of this over the weekend at a friends house. Even though he cooked it on his George Foreman, it rocked. I will definatley be picking some up soon to cook on one of the Eggs.
It was the "regular" variety that we had. Evidently they use sheep intestine for the casing and apply a little sugar so it chars up nice and has a little crunch on the exterior.
Damn good stuff, and worth seeking out IMO.
