butt got too hot

I woke up to my boston butt at 210 internal temp! What can I expect? I am letting it sit in foil for a few hours. Just wondering how dry it will be and if the Easter lunch will need to be somethin else. Thanks! Happy Easter!

I agree, should be OK,, very hard to dry out a butt.

Put a butt on last night at 6:30,still cookin slow, temp holding at 255' on the lid.Woke up at 1:30 and added a little more chunks,temp got down to 175'. This is my first cook so wish me luck!

It should be fine. I have had a few go to 210 and can not tell the difference.

Yep.
Mine got to 208. Had to foil it for 4 hours. It was delicious and moist when we served it. No complaints, and no left overs from a 9lb butt.
