OT - Been Married Too Long

... so I decided to spruce up a little.
I have bought cowboy boots out but I have always wanted a pair from Texas.
So, I ordered some and they came yesterday. Very nice.
Showered, shaved and and some nice duds as well as my new Texas boot. I proudly saundered into the kitchen and said to my wife:
"Notice anything different about me?"
My wife looked up from the paper and casually said "Nope."
Well, that was a bit disappointing as I was really excited about my boots.
Frustrated, but not without another idea. Back into the bedroom and I took everything off except for my new boots.
Fully undressed, except for my new Texas Boots I strutted back into the kitchen.
I said, "notice anything different NOW!"
My wife again looked up over the paper and and exclaimed, "Kent what's different?"
"It's hanging down today, it was hanging down yesterday, it'll be hanging down again
tomorrow!"
Furious, I yelled, "AND DO YOU KNOW WHY IT'S HANGING DOWN, DEAR?"
"Nope", she quietly replied.
"IT'S HANGING DOWN, BECAUSE IT'S LOOKING AT MY NEW BOOTS!!!!"
Without changing expression or tone of voice, she said, "Shoulda bought a hat... Shoulda bought a hat.."

For our 40th aniversury, I went to Victoria's Secret to by my wife something sexy (that I could enjoy, too) I looked and looked :P :woohoo: and ask the sales girl to show me something sexy for aniversery present. She showed me a real sexy nighty. When she told me it was $50, I ask her what she had that was a little more. She showed me three more each at $50 to $100 more. They all looked the same but each higher price was more sheer and transparent. I decided since I would get probably the most enjoyment out of it I went for a $500 one. She wrapped it up and I took it home.
When I got home with it wife was waiting for me with a great meal cooked on my BGE and candles on the table. I said "sweetheart, before we eat, why don't you take this gift upstairs and put it on for supper." Well, when she opened the box, she saw the sales girl hadn't taken the price off of it. She thougth to herself, dang, this is so transparent he will never know if I have it on or not. I can take it back and get the money for it and spend it on something I want, like some new shoes. I'll just go back down stairs nude and he will never know the difference.
As she came down the stairs, she said "honey, this is so beautiful and sexy, I just love it'
I said "Damn, for the price of that thing, you would think the sales girl would have pressed the wrinkles out of it before she wrapped it"
I'm in deep doo-doo now -
