Just made a heck of a haul on BGE accessories. I got the little half moon deal for the little holes for fish, scallops, etc., a little half moon deal with the drip pan, and some other stuff. Do I have to coat it with oil and bake for a while or can I just clean and cook on it?
thanks!
thanks!

Season the meat - yes. The BGE No!!

As Chris said, cook away just DO NOT do anything over 350-375 for the first few cook, to allow the gasket to get settled in. Spatchcocked chicken are always a nice cook. No Pizza or high temp steaks for a few cooks. Welcome to the "CULT".

Appreciate it!
There is a company going out of business (divorce deal) up here and is selling all BGE stuff at 50% off. My wife can't say no to a sale and I've benefited from that. She bought the big serving platter, cutting board, starter sticks, charcoal and everything else that had a BGE logo on it. I'm good to go for quite some time. -
