Are there any hotels in your area???
One week after Waldorf but only a 5 hour drive....hmmmm :P -
You might want to reconsider that date. It is the week after Waldorf.
Why the 12 cook limit?
Eggfest attract people from all over the country. You should consider getting a hotel lined up. -
Opening page on your website: the banner says May 1st.

I've cooked at a lot of fests, never been reimbursed for the food. -RP

You complaining about this Randy?? LOL
-
12 cooks sounds like a small amount. Is there a host hotel or any hotels lined up? Great to see another southern fest.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for the comments! We are just getting things underway for this so please stay updated for hotels and accommodations as well as much more info. We might have up to 20 eggs to cook on depending on response. Due to our space we are also trying to keep this event to about 200 - 250 people for the first year and grow it from there. Any other suggestions and recommendations are more than welcome. Hope to see some of you here! -
So..is the fest thw 1st...or the 8th?
-
The Carolina EggFest will be May 8, 2010.

Don't be afraid to ask some of us if we can bring our eggs to cook on.
Again you might consider pushing it a week-end or two. There may be a big event going on in Asheboro that week-end that could put a crimp on you getting some of there. -
Hi Everyone,
We would like to thank "Select Outdoor Kitchens" as signing up as a primary sponsor for the Carolina Eggfest. I would encourage everyone to take a look at some of their amazing products! Select Outdoor Kitchens -
Hi Everyone,
We are almost sold out. I imagine registration will close by the end of the week. We have room and still need about 5 more cooks! Remember, this is not a competition. Make sure to check out our website that also includes the first newsletter regarding the event.
