Congrats. Looks like you are on target.
-
Looks good. I love your table. I'm going to build something like that next spring.

I love it when a plan comes together. Nice table!!
-
Thanks, It was a fun build.
-
Thanks, all left over pieces. All I had to buy were the casters.
-
Nice looking table. I commend you on your first cook, Spare ribs. You decided to do the Low n Slow thing. Good for you. Now you are going to think, "what am I going to cook on the EGG next ?"
-
I've got a list a mile long!
-
You nailed those spares. Great table. The XL looks well seasoned and has a rutland gasket. Good deal on a used Egg?
-
Looks like you jumped in whole hog!!Great looking ribs. Meat pulled back just like you want. Great job and look forward to many more of your post!

The table looks great-nice job there, but the cook looks even better. I just finished breakfast and you've started me drooling already. Welcome to the cult, and keep us posted with pics and write-ups of your future cooks and projects.

Great looking cook....I'm amazed that you waited until the table was finished to start cooking. Those ribs don't look like your first time around a lump fire
Regards,

great looking spares! on the advice of several forum members, i have started covering my platesetter with aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
-
The food looks great, and the table is fabulous. Great job
-
Thanks, the rutland gasket came by necessity. When putting it together, I set down the base and went to get the dome. By the time I got back, my dog had removed it for me and tore it to pieces. By looking at the gasket problems, it may have turned out to be a good thing.
-
Thanks, I used to make them on the gas but they were nothing like this. I feel like I am cheating.
-
Thanks, and that is a great tip. I will certainly foil from now on.
-
Great looking cook. You plunged right in for your first one. I wimped out and only tried burgers the first time.
Like stated above, you'll get where you cover that plate setter. I even foil line my drip pan for easy clean-up. -
With 1000's of posts about the gaskets coming off, I think this is the first that the DOG did itSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Great tip! A friend of mine bet me I couldn't make ribs like Dave's, so I tried them on my first cook. He now calls me Famous Nate.
-
Thanks, I was really pleased with the way they turned out.
-
Thanks, I am hooked already.
-
I certainly will, Thanks.
-
Thanks, thought I'd better do a good job on something I plan on using "alot".
-
