Brining Pork Chops

Is it possible to OVER brine pork chops? How long for 2 inch chops?[p]Thanks.

    Yes. I brine thick chops for about 4 hours. 5 tops. That is with a cup or less of salt per gallon.

  • Nature Boy, I go with 3/4 cup salt 1/4 cup turbinado sugar and 1/2 TBSP Garlic Powder.
