My gasket has come loose in one spot about 6 inches. What adhesive is best?

3M super 77

I used 3M super 77 when I replaced my gasket and it came loose again so I went with a hi-temp automotive silicone gasket adhesive in a tube. Was easier to direct where I wanted the adhesive to go, and it has not come loose since.

I used Wurth brand High Temp Spray Adhesive. It has a temp rating for short periods to 275. 3M didn't specify a temp range.

got it on the large wit nomext now... workin great and its STUCK

Permatex 26B

I used the permatex 700 degree (don't remember the color - too many colors) gakset material when installing nomex on the mini. I'm kind of impressed at how little of the gasket material (permatex) I had to use to create a good gasket seal.
I used the 3M 77 stuff on the medium and it worked well - just not as easy to apply as the permatex. My 2 cents.
