Question regarding Dual Function Top - Mini

I recently acquired a dual function top for my mini from a dealer in a separate state from where I live. Upon my return home, the top is significantly larger than the top of the mini, and hangs over the edges a lot.

So, my question is, did the dealer sell me the DFMT for the small? Or are the tops for the mini loose fitting (bottom side sits flush with the ceramic, slides around when opening)?

I'm at the office, but can post pictures tonight.

Sounds like a small top, the mini top fits rather snug.

Measure it.

My mini top is snug. the others are a bit loose but that is not, if there is any build up inside it it is tight.

Diamentions for DFMT are:
Mini ID = 3 3/4"
Small ID = 4 3/8"

It appears that I got a small top and not a mini:

Hopefully the dealer will pay for shipping the new one to me.

I was going to say that my mini's DFMT fits a little more loose than my larges do. I was concerned after reading that the others say theirs fit more snug that maybe I have a problem also, but after seeing your pictures, yours is apparently the wrong top.

My mini top fits loose too, but it's not THAT loose! :laugh:
