Wow Fred. Your store is amazing from what I could tell by the video. It appears you have one of the largest selections of rubs, sauces, accesories of any BBQ store I have seen, and I have seen a lot.
-
OK Fred. I will get you started.
You are a dork on camera. LOL
Thanks for the 1 on 1 with the XL.
I wish your store was closer because you sure have the zest that is lacking by most dealers.
I have ordered from you in the past and will again in the future. Your love for BBQ and great customer service will take you far.
Take care,
darian
PS. no free products or demos involved in this plug...Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
Nice job on comparison Fred. May be optical illusion but top or lid looks to be slightly taller? Also, the original platesetter for XL has shorter legs. I only have about 1 inch clearance from grill to platesetter.

Great comparison and as always nice job showing the product. Hats off to BGE for makeing the needed changes to the XL model.
On a side-note, loved the EGG-splosion video also  . -
Please, smlandry013@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Cheesy...why are cybersquating dude? These cheesy videos aint movin enough product? Your antics are questionable. Your buffoonary is humorous.
-
go away. Fred's video is helpful, unlike customer service for a stoker.
-
I did not say Freds service was bad. Fred is cybersquating on my domain name. This is not ethical. Did I give you bad customer service? If you call and identify yourself I am sure we can get it resolved.
-
I'll 2nd that was thinking of a Stoker sent email with a question and no reply went with the DigiQII. The new CyberQ is on the market today.
-
Sorry I did not get back to you. Good luck with the Guru they are fine folks

We just double checked / measured and the dome is the same for both units.

It looks like the platesetter you used in the video is the new model. The old model only has 1" legs so the grate would sit at felt height.

That video's something else there Fred. However, please check on the facts. I got my XL last June (2008). When did the new models come out? My XL looks just like your new one (the new wider handle, the larger casters, the new spring mehanism), except I have the inside of the old model. What's up with that? Yes, the fire ring has the 6 divits. Plus I noticed you used the new platesetter on the old model in your demonstration. I have the old model platesetter and my cooking level is not above the felt line like you show. Now I'm not criticizing, just trying to get the facts straight.

Yea Fred,WTF?I agree with Pitmaster here  Here's pics of my XL last June!!! I am aware of the (recent)internal changes, but the "new" handle and hinge have been around for a long time now

Hey ..I just call them like I seez them! Grill # 1 , the "original" XL came into our stock (with 3 more) earlier this year, grill # 2 , the "new" one, came into our stock last week ...the very first we have seen with the new stuff on them ... I don't make em ..I just buy them, put them together and sell them!
Looks like you have the little casters ??Fred A. Bernardo , owner of Tasty Licks BBQ Supply in Shillington, Pa. -
I had the small castors, but upgraded to 5" ones
