I do not have a picture but there is one below in a thread by Always Golf...I made these beans for the 1st (not the last) time yesterday. I used peach filling instead of apple and they were

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! :woohoo: I also put about 1 lb of chopped up beef brisket in them..

we had several dishes but everyone kept raving about the "peach beans"...LOL

I cooked them in on my small BGE in my 5 qt CI Dutch Oven at 225 for 2 hours...they wer da bomb...

We made them for Mothers' Day with the same reaction. I've had several calls since then asking for the recipe. I think these will become a summer cook out staple.

I got the same reaction too....I liked the peach better also. So glad to have the recipe!

Made them about 3 times so far but all with apple, will maybe have to try the peach next time. But get the same reaction, They are indeed DA BOMB. And no one believe they have apple in them, they just tear them up. Great with potato salad and easy to make.

Yep..I've made these a bunch of times and they are always mentioned when trying to decide on what sides to make...I've made them with apple and peach and even toy around with the recipe once adding a lil bourbon and this last time adding some beer while they simmered.. all good adds but basically the base recipe is perfect!
