Is a plate sitter a worthwhile accesory for the Egg?
I saw them at my local dealer. What can they be used for?[p]TIA[p]Daniel

    Daniel,I use mine exclusively for cooking pizza, bread etc.coupled with a heavy duty pizza stone. Others use the setter inverted with a drip pan and second rack for low and slow cooks. I prefer using half size firebricks for indirect low and slow cooks, but this is just simply a personal preference. You can certainly use it for both and will find it a very useful accessory.

    Since I take the lazy/easy way out, the plate setter makes an indirect cook much easier than firebricks. Is it a worthwhile investment...depends on if you plan on doing pizza/bread..if so, it's a must item.
