I made these for dinner tonight. I've had some good beans in my time, but these were eggcellent! We had them with bbq'd burgers, but I have to say the beans were a meal in themselves. Next time I make the entire recipe as is, I'll just serve them alone. If being served with another meat dish, I think leaving the sausage out would make them more of a less-filling side dish.[p]I actually didn't have all the ingredients so had to leave out the onions and green peppers (I put onions and green peppers in nearly everything I cook so am always out of them!), and even without those items, the beans were still killer. I highly recommend the recipe. (Posted in a thread further below.)[p]Gwen
