<p />I have a big family sized skillet so I doubled Dr. BBQ's recipe for Confederate Cornbread. Incredible aroma in the cold, crisp air.
This is how I like cornbread, with Wisconsin butta and maple syrup.

I see a lot of nice cutting boards,... unusual ones from pic's on the forum. I got to thinking I'd like to have something out on display in the kitchen so I made this cutting board and it's been a regular conversation piece whenever anybody stops on over.

Made from black cherry with inlay of birdseye maple, black walnut, red ash and sugar maple. I hand cut the inlay.
I have not the courage to whack a knife on it.
