I usually put my Maverick in a zip bag when it is raining...but I came up with a better idea..[p]I use one of those cheap Glad containers and I put a small hole in the side so that the probes can run out of each side...[p]then I put a small piece of duct tape over the area where the probes stick through...then pop on the lid and you are set...

icemncmth,
OK, I will be the first to say I was to stupid to think
of such a good idea. Next you will tell us you also mounted
the container to the nest or side table to keep things
nice and out of the way. This forum is great.

Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
icemncmth, this is also a good idea for keeping the guru dry. Thanks. Now I need to think of a similar way to keep the fan dry. I'm currently using RRP's suggestion of a foil tent which works well.
