Does brinning a pork loin change its finished color to pink? A very qualified BBQer told me that when I told him to try brinning a loin. Would someone provide me with a good pork brine recipe. Thanks, Tom

Alton Brown has a pretty good pork brine recipe that you can pull down off of food network.

BajaTom,[p]Yes it will to different degrees depending on a few variables. Brining is more of a technique than a recipe. You can get excellent results once you have an idea of what is happening.[p]If you http://w3.tribcsp.com/~iscorp/thirdeye/Cookbooks/Brining%20101.pdf you will go to a pdf file called Brining 101. It explains the process (along with some do's and dont's, and has some starter recipes too. You can save it for future reference. [p]~thirdeye~[p]
