Anyone have any experience with the Camp chef Griddle vs. the Blackstone? They look pretty similar, but no one seems to buy the Camp chef...???

Grim has both. I believe his take was for portability the edge goes to camp chef, and for stationary backyard use he liked the Blackstone.
I've got the BS 36" and love it. Been almost a couple years now.Phoenix -

Camp chef FTW, with it's red knobs it's a no brainer. That's what makes a $14,000 wolf range worth it over a $11,000 viking lol

I just got CC and have used twice. I'm happy so far. I was about to get the BS until I watched the video comparing the two. That video is on youtube and also in the link @WeberWho posted above. There are some pros about the CC that pushed me in that directionLBGE 4/2012, MBGE 6/2012 & Mini 11/2013Rome, GA

I'm the one that posted the link to the video in the linked post. I wound up buying the CC and love it. Would definitely recommend it.

It has been a while since I posted on here so I decided to log in and see what was happening...
I went with the Blackstone and so far after about five uses, I am definitely glad I did since I received a great deal on it. I did check out the Camp Chef and after a lot of reviews and knowing what I wanted to use it for, I am glad I did. Here are a couple of pictures from my first handful of cooks over the last two weeks. Philly cheese steaks, shrimp stir fries, bacon, smashburgers, and so far everything cooked on the Blackstone have been great.

How about adding another contender to the list? Similar to the new Blackstone 22" portable tabetop unit. I have not seen one in person yet, but the vid looks impressive!

Does anyone know how the camp chef natural gas conversion kit works? As in does it work well? One reason I haven't pulled the trigger on the Blackstone is the natural gas conversion kit doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon (I reached out at asked them)Formerly of Houston, TX - Now Located in Bastrop, TX
