Got an early birthday gift from the wife.
Getting it seasoned.
Going to start trying some wok fun on the mini. Any links from those with wok cooks or food ideas are welcome.

Just let those things warm up good. I let it sit in there while its getting up to temp, that way it sizzles once your good to go. Congrats and have fun! Also - I like the Pan Asian Market in OPKS for lots of sauces, spices and what not.Kansas City: Too Much City for One State - Missouri side
2 Large BGE's, Instant Pot, Anova Sous Vide, and a gas smoker...

Yeah, that place always smells a little funky. PA in OPKS is more Americanized and has aisles for Chinese, Korean, Indian, Japanese, etc...
BUT
Now that I've wokked some -I'm looking to head back to the RiverMarket - now that I know of some things to look for.

Now, I don't have the Mini - but looking at your photos, I'd either remove the wok ring, or flip it over and get the wok down towards the coals... I use a CGS Spider and 16" wok in my LBGE and it's down into the Egg, with the handles jutting above the felt line.

Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

You are off to a great start. Have lots of fun.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

@bhedges1987 what is the stand that you have for the wok?
I've only cooked one thing in the wok using the egg thus far, primarily due to the fact that wok-ing in the cold and rain isn't fun. But for Lunar New Year the weather was mild, so I made this, turned out really good:

Come the summer however, we'll be wok-ing outside. I adore Vietnamese caramel ginger chicken, for example.
