I am still waiting on delivery of my BGE, but even with my old gasser, the quality of life has improved from reading the recipes and the help from this forum.[p]Since finding this group, I have cooked:[p]Grilled Marinated Pork Loin Chops With Habanero Cherry Sauce - I have done this twice, using dried cranberries instead of cherries and it is wonderful. [p]Ginger Lime Chicken Skewers (Kabobs) - I have done this twice and it too is a must do recipe. Thanks to DP for the recipe.[p]Mr. Toads Pork loin -- did this last night for 9 people and everyone was impressed. It was better than I expected with the complex mix of flavors and I exected a lot! I used the raspberry chipotle sauce and then dried figs, dried peaches, fresh apples, fresh peaches and plums and cashews. It was one of those meals that has to go on the memories list.[p]Tonight I fixed a prime rib for the first time using the DP, Cow Lick rub and I fixed the sweet potatoes from Dr. BBQ's book, along with white asparagus. I also fixed a new recipe for coconut cream pie that is to die for. I got this recipe from the Cooks Illustrated, cooking show and it is really great. I will post the recipe in a separate post.[p]Last, but not least, I fixed ABT's with shrimp and all I can say is DAMN. [p]If life gets better with the BGE, I am toast! Thanks everyone!![p]Once I get the BGE, I hope to be better with pictures. A friend got some´pictures of Mr. Toad's pork loin, but I do not have coppies yet.[p]Life is good

BobS,[p]Life is about to get a whole lot better, my friend. While you're waiting, stock up on supplies. Find a good place to buy lump in your area. Get a good instant read thermometer, a cabled "leave in" thermometer, maybe a pizza stone, smoking chunks, and a plate setter is a must have. That way you won't be distracted by anything when you're Egg comes.
